you have to use sonicstage software, i just downloaded the latest sonicstage 3.0 and it's actually not bad at all (a lot of people complain about this software) - as i said you can just carry on using iTunes for mananaging your MP3s and just import the songs into sonicstage right before transfer with the "check music folder" option and you're away - the transfer is SO much faster than the iPod used to be as well.... 3 songs every 1 second!!Originally posted by 007Comment

They have a worldwide warranty, and I can also purchase Applecare as well.
If I get it off ebay, and the seller doesnt provide an original reciept, the 1 year warranty will go from the manufacturing date of the Ipod + 1 year extra if I pay ?59 for the Applecare.

applecare is ok... mainly as a longer warranty and accidental damage. That's ****ing expensive though! I was quoted less by them... Have a look around for extended warranties on the internet, you can find some very good third party ones apparently.

Ok so should I get the 40gb Ipod Photo (brand new) from ebay for ?230 all in (that includes dock etc) or the 30gb Ipod Photo for ?250 from the high street?

Just got new Sony Fontopia headphones for my iPod. They are amazing. I've never used something like them before. Block out so much sound, are comfortable, sound great and they stay in my ear. Perfect!

I have a problem with my ipod mini....when I connect it to my pc using the USB cable, itunes doesnt pick up the connection ie for some reason itunes is saying that the ipod mini is not connected when it is!! This problem only occurred for the first time yesterday. Help.
