what about Serious Sam - got that on the XBOX and it's a good lugh - no TS2 but decent enough

Not sure what it's like on the Cube though?

I found MoH: Rising Sun to be awful on the GC. Almost to the point of it being uncontrollable.

And has the worst fmv of any game I've ever seen.

Including Demolition Man on the 3DA.

Bad to the point of abstraction.

Serious Sam: Next Encounter GC is supposed to be a good laugh... if procured cheaply. It's bloody rough around the edges tho...

Other than timesplitters 2 what else is there which is any good FPS wise?

(Excluding Metroid Prime, which i wasn't keen on, but i can understand and appreciate why others love it)

TimeSplitters 2 is a good FPS. It's not as good as 007: GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Halo: Combat Evolved or Halo 2, but it's good. And it's basically the best FPS GameCube has to offer right now (except for Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, but those are more like FPA).

But 2005 looks a little brighter ... With Geist. We can at least hope it'll be good.

Withough being glib, it's clear that if you're at all into console FPS, an XBox is a must. Mind you, I'd say I am, and I don't have one.

                    TimeSplitters 2, for the multi-player.

XIII is one of my faves as well. I have Die Hard: Vendetta but it treads the border-line on actually being any good. It has some decent set-pieces and levels but on the other hand some levels are really bad, I haven't been able to do the Training Level yet and I've had it for ages, I keep getting spotted.

It's ?4.99 in Toys 'R' Us and is worth a Fiver of anyone's money.
