i was in a huff once with TNT and told them i wasnt going to pay </huff>

suddenly i got a letter froma debt collector - paid it instantly

credit rating is a wonderful thing

anyway i received my castle shig no shiro deluxe today and play asia marked it down to 36usd

now recently i've gotten away with stuff marked at ?100+ alot of parcels

now 36usd is around ?19, so ?1 over the threshold - hurrah for customs and royal mail, a nice bill for ?7.36

feckers - they should charge you a % on the value over ?18

ok thanks for the replies. I'm still upset, i won't use Lik-Sang anymore and will use Play Asia from now on and hopefully they will mark down any items and I won't have to pay customs next time. I will buy single items one by one.

I'm still thinking about not paying. A small consolation would be that I could save that ?30 on items I won't pay customs on from Play Asia in the future... when I save that much i'll be "even" with that ?30.

Thanks for the info Buster, the ?7.36 charge for something ?100+ is still very good though.
