Resident Evil 4 newb importing questions- Quick help please

    On the subject of freeloader I have one on its way from VG+ with RE4 and Viewtiful Joe 2.The freeloader has no region protection on it as its coming from Canada?

    Do I need another memory card to play US titles?

      Does Res Evil 4 USA version work on a pal machine with freeloader 106b?

        No you can save US and UK game on same memory card - just not Japanese with either of the other 2.

          Make sure you check the instructions - my one defaulted to PAL because I bought it in the UK, I don't know if it searches for the correct region or not (I'm pretty certain it does, though).

          US and Canada games have always been fine on UK GCs, unless someone wants to correct me.

            Don't know if you or anyone else has found this out already, but US/Canadian Resident Evil 4 works fine with UK GameCubes and a 1.06b Freeloader.
