It should get an Xbox release, seeing that it's not that graphically demanding.

I played the demo though doesn't look very good, but I guess the physics are great, and that will at least appease the sim fans.

At the moment I'm still praying that Forza surprises everyone and turns-out to be a great game.

yeah I hope Forza is great also but the thought of waiting until June (at least) isn't that appealing.

I actually thought GTR's graphics were pretty good...

I'm seriously hoping the finished Forza is a whole lot better than the recent demo - never have I been more disappointed with anything ever!!! GT4 Prologue (not got full game yet) simply blows Forza demo out of the water in the gameplay/handling and looks department.

        Still, here's hoping...

GTR's graphics are bit bland but when you just have track/grass/trees etc better to represent the tracks realistically than add in background crap for eye candy, plus the game runs alot smoother, did you know you can press "Ctrl + F" to get the fps shown in top right corner

the TrackIR detector looks good if a bit OTT

TrackIR adds depth to the PC gaming experience by enabling players to take control of the in-game view.

It might be 'bland', but the amount of detail on the actual track was really impresive, I thought. The kerbing has super-detailed textures and is fully 3d-modelled, so you can tell how much you're going to hammer your suspension riding them from bend to bend; surely more useful than a fairground ride in the background?

I thought it looked really nice when i had a play with all the settings whacked up. I really like the idea of these uber sims i just normally end up giving upto soon as it takes me ages to be anything other than crap on them!

Quite agree Mid, the game isn't too graphic card extensive and gives good fps's even with "mid range" CPU's and graphic cards.
Play.com have actually shipped my copy today so will have it Weds/Thurs

Picked this up today after a few people have been raving about it, especially the level of realism and the simulation engine.

you won't be disappointed, much more sim like/realistic than GT4 and the like, great game that always demands one more go ....

****ing awesome. More than a year since I first played the demo, but having the chance to take on Brno in a Lambourghini ... man, it's just heaven.

Plenty of laps to get in before I dare go online though.

Using my wireless Xbox pad with it, nice as I'd always hoped

The physics is though, updates at a silly amount of times per second.

Simbin did have Xbox dev kits though early last year and were starting on a conversion, dunno where it got left though.

Actually it's really chuggy on my 9800 Pro. Latest drivers & directx, plenty of ram and a 3.2 processor. And there's only me on track. WTF is with that?

funny, I get 45fps minimum when on own and everything set to high detail on 1024x768 (3.0XP, 6600GT, 768mb ram)

Do you only have 512mb ? that may be the problem.

Loving this more than GT4 at the moment.
