I have an Ixos cable & because it is so ****ty I recently replaced it with one of the Blaze ones costing 1/3 of the price. Avoid the Ixos cables at all costs. Whilst picture quality is so-so (when it works) you need to fiddle about with the connector until you get a stable image...oh & you always get some low volume buzzing noise all the time. Very poor for such a reputable cable manufacturer.

The Blaze cable is fantastic - image is pin sharp, there is no colour bleed & at only ?8 delivered it's a steal. If it'd cost me ?20 I'd still be pleased with it!

I've got the IXOS lead and the picture is superb (WAY better than the 3rd party lead I was using previously), no buzzing noises or dodgy connectors either. Sounds like you got a duff one.

Looking to get a Blaze one as well though so I can use my GunCon2.

It was about two years ago, I bought them from an on-line store located in New Zealand...GPstore.co.nz? I can't remimber right now but will check on it for you.

Nice to see I'm not the only one with this problem. I reckon IXOS should stick to what they know, rather than producing sub-par gaming cables.

Thanks for all the advise. I'm gonna try hunt down an offical one, failing that I'll get the Blaze. I keep kicking myself because I worked for Dixons as a student last year and they were selling an offical one for ?10 because its box was in bad condition - that was before I found out about RGB.
