I have contacted PA, and they told me to wait a little while longer, but I just know they ain't gonna arrive. Would love to be proved wrong though.
Sorry to resurrect this old thread.

My orders never arrived, but I thought I'd say this in defence of PlayAsia (who, let's face it, need all the defence they can get as of late!).

After a month or so of conversation with the friendly and very-English-literate customer services people, obediently following their suggestions of checking post offices, etc, they sent me a credit note for the full amount, based purely on my say-so.

So I re-ordered the stuff that went lost, tho Mushihimesama (standard edition) has been out-of-stock for a while now, so I was prepared to wait.

But I just received an email confirming that they have shipped me the limited edition (with the kooky wee figurine thing) to save me waiting any longer.

So, providing it arrives this time, I say:

    PlayAsia ... on the up!

I wish they wouldn't plaster advertising over the packaging. It's the same reason Play.com lose so much. Morons.

Say that if your package has managed to escape C&E's notice and you don't get whacked with import-duty.

So is everyone else getting kicked in the balls with import duty on practically every PA order these days?

I thought it was just me...

i'm in the process of chasing a $109 parcel from play-asia and they seem to be sorting it out

still dont have the funds yet - but they respond to all emails and seem quite receptive

so fingers crossed they will send a replacement or at least send me a credit note

You might want to visit your local Post Office delivery office, i was waiting for my GB Micro which never arrived. Visited the PO, turned out they attempted the delivery but never left a card. It almost went back to Play-Asia.

Oh, that reminds me, had the same thing happen. I was waiting on a copy of Sonic Jamand after about 6 weeks I was about to class it as lost. Got another attempted delivery of a few more Saturn games and when I got there the sorting office dude said they had this other packagae in my name for about a month and were about to send it back but he spotted the name matched the one on the new delivery.

No card had been left in that instance either.

Could also be that packages are held up at the customs office. a PA order of friend of mine sat at the custom office for 6 weeks making the total delivery time to arrive nearly 7 weeks! Got a 12 Euro import duty thrown on top of a 45 Euro game.

UK Customs are usually very quick so i doubt it would be a problem. Can't speak high enough about UK customs, especially as my Micro was passed with no charge. Was marked on the box as $124.90. Guess it was the end of the shift!

UK Customs are not that quick. A while ago, I had an item from the US under the ?18 limit and it took 6 weeks to arrive. More recently I had a $10 T-shirt on order from Cafepress. I had the shipment email and the item arrived about 6+ weeks later... postmarked Mount Pleasant.

As for Play-Asia, the last item I bought from them was the Daigasso Band Brothers add-on GBA disk and that was marked at full price.

I have a preferrence for Yes-Asia and will be even more likely to go with them unless the item is not obtainable from them and is under ?18 in which case I will use Play-Asia.
