Ahh, great to read the feelings of someone taking this class game on for the first time. Don't know why I never responded earlier.

Enjoy the castle mate, remember it's not Resi if you don't take on a brooding building of some sort. Man, your in for a treat.

Mr RLench you were so right!

I am at 4.3 and I can honetsly say this is the best game I've played since the heady days of OOT and Mario64.

It reminds me of so many different types of games! Like zelda, MGS, shemnue, and of course RE! Who couldn't smile when moving the blocks onto switches, in true RE 1 retro fashion.

Things that have made me go "Wow" since my last post? So many to mention!

        Fire Dragon Room
The whole swich to the presidents daughter and delightful stage, (Just balanced right, not too long)
        The ride down the shaft
        The magma switch room
The vastness of the bloody game! Oh my god it's amazing!
        The garden maze
        The "Slider puzzle"
        The button tops! Wohoh
The best selection of boss battles I can remember
The most satisfying sniper mode since GE64

Then on top of all this, another mention on the visuals.

How on earth have they managed this? Particle effects, heat haze, reflective surfaces, modelled water, Highest res polys I've seen on cube.

Just really adds to it all.

I am finding the difficulty just right, and the kind save points are just so brilliant for me. I feel I am playing a game that was made by people passionate about our hobby, who decided to try and learn from all the best games before them, and merge it into one amazing package.

There are three things I also feel at the moment.

        1.) It's the first 10/10 game since I played Mario 64

2.) I have had my money's worth 110% if the game ended at chapter 4.4 then I'd feel satisfied

3.) I've run out of save spaces for the "Cool Bits" I am looking forward to Round 2, Bring em un!

PS, I only just read the "First Play" thread. I noticed a guy who didn't know that B was for run. Neither did I until after El Gigante 1. No wonder I found it so tough to avoid him! lol plumb.
