i think you'll find thats its the philips brand that isn't particularly good with rgb.

SOME of the sets are very poor via rgb, for example i bought a rgb portable 3 years ago for my spare room and the rgb was that poor i had to swap brand for a panny(tried another model at the shop too).

i am really sure its because your tv is a philips(made around 2002 though modern 2003+ philips sets seem fine), my sis has the widescrren 24" philips set and hers is not up to scratch with rgb.

Yeah, screw Philips! The set I used to use for games displayed faultless RGB for NTSC Dreamcast and Saturn, but only gave black and white for American n64/SNES.

I know Philips are crap/weak at RGB anyway.

I am currently saving up for new HDTV so I am aiming to get one in January.
