7800 will only show its true colours when features it has built in are used by developers. it surprises me really that nvidia did't go with a 2 slot solution and stick a bigger heatsink on in an attempt to push clock speeds, as to me 460mhz is hardly revolutionary(x850xt pe = 540mhz).

512 mb gddr would have been nice too.

on the flipside, it is more power efficient than the 6800 ultra and is meant to be blistering in sli(when compared to 6800 series).

ati crossfire will be so interesting!!!!

so expensive though for me its about price i just do not think the performance increase is worth the price.By the time you get games that can really use the sli/crossfire configuration there will be single cards that offer the same performance i only need games to run at a 60fps and i am happy

well i'm getting one as i'm upgrading from a geforce 4 card so i should see some difference

to be fair the x850xt pe still retails for around ?340 for a decent brand, so its not too bad in comparison, only another 60 squid.
