What's up with Firefox ?

Lately Firefox has been a bit screwy for me.

Sometimes it'll just dissapear off the desktop and task bar if it comes across a certain site that it doesn't seem to like.

YesAsia is a good example - no matter what it just wont load the page fully. It gets half way and then `blip` its all gone and I have to restart FF. Works fine in IE.

I know some sites are incompatible (and up until now I'd only come across a handful of sites that didn't like it), but YesAsia was working fine up until a week or so ago and I haven't upgraded my version or fiddled with any settings.

Anyone else getting problems ?

Nope, YesAsia loads up fine for me - I'm using 1.04

Looks fine here, although success with Firefox seems to be hit and miss. I've only just upgraded to 1.4 from 0.6 because 0.8 and 1.0 crashed like hellfire causing me to rollback twice :/

Hmmm, I'm on 1.0.4 here and its not having any of it.

Guess I'll try 1.0.5. and see what happens

edit: Nope, its having none of it (which indicates there's probably something wrong at my end but God knows what as I haven't done anything different)

I posted once on a forum about a similar problem - and was told to "modify the source code to fix the problem and return the changes back to the community."

I told them to **** off and started using Opera. Haven't gone back.

Hmm, looking into it a bit further www.yesasia.com vanishes without a trace before loading fully.

However http://us.yesasia.com/en/Index.aspx works fine

you cleared the cache/cookie and stuff? that sometimes helps. other thing would be get the view in IE extension, not perfect but handy when firefox wants to do something weird

I tried clearing cookies and stuff but that didn't work. I'll look into that IE extension though

I had a similar problem and found it was caused by a certain download extension. I uninstalled the extension and everything was fine.
