Yeah undoing a tab close is easy with firefox, just install tabbrowser extensions. Saving sessions is possible too.

Already had a notification from AVG of an infected file whilst browsing with Opera.
In some bizzare twist it was on Opera's own website when I was reading the FAQ's about the Nimda worm. Next thing I know AVG's warning me the Nimda worm is on my system
Methinks I will be going back to Firefox now (even though the bastard thing refuses to let me look at some sites).

I've been using Opera for years. Even better than mouse gestures is keyboard navigation; spatial navigation (Shift+Arrows) allows you to jump from one link to the next with surprising efficiency. There's also one indispensible feature that's been included for as long as I've used it and hasn't been picked up by any other bowser: pressing Tab moves between text fields/script buttons, allowing you to get right to one and begin typing without first having to wade through a dozen links.
Having sessions automatically saved is another boon for me. I usually have at least a dozen tabs leftover from previous sessions. It loads up in seconds on my 2GHz XPM with 1GB RAM.
In the years I've used Opera (on Windows) nearly exclusively I've never picked up a virus, and I don't use any AVS. That's most likely a false positive. Put if you are actually getting a virus from their site you should tell them.
Aggressive caching, rendering customization, extensive GUI customization. There are too many features that sets Opera above other browsers, for me. And it's worth the price considering how much use I get out of it. I've spent more on games that go mostly unplayed.

Firefox's keyboard shortcuts are gold too, and the tabbing between fields is commonplace as well.
As for viruses, you've got to be looking at some dodgy sites with security set to 'take me now' on any browser to get something (most likely activeX now), email's the culprit there. Security flaws are another matter, but every browser gets those, it's just a case of how quickly they get plugged.
If you want to see full browser customization btw, type about:config into firefoxThe other boon for web developers is the Javascript debugging console.
Personally I think as long as you use either and not IE then you're on to a winner.

I love Opera. Some of the above comments I have to agree with.
One of my favourite things about the Opera is the copy and paste into a new tab short cut.
Copy what you want with ctrl+c then press ctrl+d and it opens it in a new tab!
Also like the fact that the address bar can be placed at the bottom.
I wish Firefox had summat like this!
One thing though, is there an ad-block feature in Opera like there is in Firefox?

Opera now ad-free
Opera Software today permanently removed the ad banner and licensing fee from its award-winning Web browser. The ad-free, full-featured Opera browser is now available for download - completely free of charge
Good stuffMight have to try it soon, see how it compares to firefox.
