Writing a letter is the best idea, and keep it polite. Just state you haven't had what is yours yet, and that if you don't get it you are taking the matter to a small claims court. Don't make any threats, just keep it simple and state what action you intend to take. The guy will probaby reason that it's less fuss to give you your money back.

Use the feedback system too. Even though some like MD "Started" well, it's still a valuable tool.

After getting some help & a bit of friendly persuasion the Xbox finally arrived today. The downside to it is when it boots up with modchip off, it says "call customer support". Having gone through all his threads on here and NTSC it appears, he's had a lot of trouble with this Xbox. Blown Hard drive etc. This was all stuff I wasn't made aware of - he even told me he'd had no problems with it.
I think this may be the reason he's hesitant to get in contact with me.
Anyways, I'm hoping I'll be able to sort this stuff out myself.
I need to thank a few people, but won't post their names (I'm not sure they'd want me to) you know who you are. Thankyou!

If the chap was reluctant because he knew the machine was buggered then he's probably still got something resembling morals and may even come clean. Although the chances are probably slim, I suppose.
Even if you are able to solve the problem with the machine yourself, you paid what you considered to be a fair price for a fully working machine.
