I ordered Be's 24meg home b/band package for ?20 a month for life on 8th September and my order status is still pending. - Seems there was some technical fault at my exchange but is now resolved. Still, why do i have to wait a month for connection? - Anyone else ordered and still not downloading like a lunatic yet? - Will be worth the wait but im getting a bit impatient now.

Thats why I prefer cable over ADSL, all this distance depending bollox is stupid IMO, as is the case if there are more users near your local exchange. Does ADSL2 get rid of all this?

I read on Be's site that they offer 24 meg, and for each kilometere away from the exchange you may loose up to a meg in speed.
