Recommend me some truely GREAT Playstation games

I have ?35 in paypal funds so was thinking of getting some gems to play with.

wipeout 2097 (best racing game in history) highly recommend picking up a negcon with it (white ones sell dirt cheaply brand new & boxed).

Castlevania Symphony of the Night...sheer brilliance. for most gamers the best Castlevania game and for a whole bunch of gamers even in the top 3 segement of their "best of all time"-list.

Final Fantasy 7 (or 9 if you want to go for somethin visually impressive).
Chrono Trigger Originally released on the snes but later ported for the PS (with some additional / tweaked graphics). A very lovely story & a cool battle system. One of the better rpgs.

Vib-Ribbon a totally wicked music/rhythm game! Graphicly very simple but brilliant gameplay. You play a transforming rabbit that walks/dances across a ribbon which has to pass obstacles which are generated by the music you play. This has a nigh on endless replay value as it has as many levels as your music CD collection has songs. Totally addictive and utterly cool! ( i want a plush vibri !!! )

Klona. Fear Effect. Ridge Racer Type 4. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (most technically impressive game on the PSone IMO). Wipeout 3: Special Edition.

I'd go for Castlevania : Symphony of the Night & Vib Ribbon. Both genuine classics.

I'd recommend Grandia for a pretty cheap yet amazing RPG. Bishi Bashi Special. Alundra is class too

Despite the cool music I think Suikoden is a load of arse. Your character can't even walk diagnally, what's that about?
