The games will defo work. I think Im going to take the plunge and get one tbh. Saving around ?200-300 on eBay UK prices.

I'm not going to be going for one this side of the big X - looks like a lush bit of kit & all, but I'll grab one when I can do it on my own terms, without enforced bundles & so on.

I'm extremely tempted to go down the eBay.de route, but I'm slightly perturbed by what'll happen if it's faulty :/

            That's a lotta hassle, baby. Are 360 warranties Euro-wide?

I wouldn't have thought so, but its being claimed that the 360 system is quite universal (by that I mean the powerbrick from different regions will work on systems of different regions, the hard-drive from a UK console will work on a US system etc). If correct then for all intents and purposes a system bought in Germany (or anywhere else for that matter) is virtually identical to one bought elsewhere.

With that in mind, they might be hard pressed to find an excuse to not repair one, regardless of where it was purchased. MS is a global corporation after all

Just snaffled myself a premium pack from ebay Germany for ?328. Not bad as things go. A good thing I noticed about the german sellers is that a lot of them have the full blown paypal buyer protection scheme, so it's virtually impossible to get scammed.

Aye, Google translate and babelfish are good too. Every item over there is OVP!!! apparently, must be the german equivalent of MINT!!!

Postage seems a bit cheap tbh, considering its being sent between countries.
Sending a 360 here by Standard Parcels would be a tenner, and this works out to be £15, which is excellent.

Just ordered one for 350. Anyone know how difficult it is to change the German plug to a UK one instead of using an adapter.
