Could do, be having worked in staples, if i returned it, they will either test it, or offer to swap it. Straight refunds are a bastard to get.

I would get something other people are successfully using. For me it was the Netgear DG834G. You'll want something that gives you an open NAT straight out of the box.

After a year of use mine wouldn't connect to Live last night and a check showed it was falling over at the DNS part (internet wouldn't connect on PC either), but I've never had a problem before. Anyway I specified a static DNS address and all was fine.
