lol, I never read all of this thread before making my post but just a couple of posts above Dogg Thang seems to have experienced the exact same problem last December. Did you get anywhere in the end with your claim mate?

Can't help with the parcel sadly, but yes Parcelfarce allocate their own tracking number to a package when they take charge of it.

Thanks for that. At least it assures me that I am tracking the correct package.

So someone down in Cambridge has my stuff

What is odd now is that I enter the tracking number now and once again I only have updates up to 19th June and all the other information has been removed. The tracking number does not change this time either.

OMG now I am having problems with Parcel Farce! They have had my parcel since Saturday, not bothered to attempt to deliver yesterday or today, apparently they are now doing a "depot search" for it, and that was only after calling customer services and speaking to a manager (Preston Depot seemed totally unconcerned and unhelpful).

Plus my other package won't even track, how do Parcel Farce manage to consistently frig up their deliveries?

TBH I have no idea how they stay in business. AFAIK most of the staff are now owner-drivers or franchisees anyway.

The upshot of several phone calls this afternoon: waste of time, Preston Depot are unbelievably incompetent, no depot search has been done, they didn't know anything about my parcel and apparently they will ring me back in 30 mins "they have a lad looking for it now" oh, and from the two people I spoke to "I dont give out my last name" and "We dont give out our last names"

Yep, no wonder, probably get stalked and lynched by people waiting for their bloody parcels!

I never have problems with them here. Actually, I know the guy who does local deliveries and if I'm in town and he's doing his deliveries there and knows he has a package for me, he'll stop me and give it to me. I guess it just depends if they employ tossers in your area.

The parcel arrived this morning at 8:02am! My anger must have made them pull their fingers out!

Not the drivers I have a problem with.. they are good.. its the work-shy idiots at the Preston depot!

I'm having my first real hassle with them in many years. So much incompetence! how can something get from America to Perth in less time than it takes to make it the last half hour to my house? apparently my parcel arrived in the country over a week ago. They decided to write to me to ask me for money, then I paid on monday and they haven't bothered trying to deliver. Absolute shambles!

They did this to me a year ago. I paid by debit card over the phone & was told I could go down & collect immediately. When I got to the sorting office the monkeys on the desk told me that they could no longer find it on the system - apparently it shows on their computer only until the customs has been paid!!

Writing it like this it sounds quite unbelievable - I have to admit I was pretty flummoxed by this explanation at the time, but that's what they told me.

I think the item eventually turned up on my doorstep about 3 weeks later - by this time I'd already had the payment (for the import duty) refunded and the supplier had sent out a replacement.

When I got the request for the payment for import duty on the replacement I went down to the sorting office and paid there & then - they were able to find it immediately.

                            Stroller.
