Bringing this back from the dead a bit but I decided to go out and get some creative speakers (the half pulled out method was mucking up the surround sound).

Anyway everything seems fine, just want to make sure that the center speaker isn't meant to play music when on the dashboard, only tested with Oblivion and to my knowledge sound is only played for specific things and there isn't constantly a flow of sound if that makes sence.

If that's right I'm finally all sorted.

Yeh thats right,

On a 5.1 soundtrack the center speaker is generally used for Speech. (amongst other things)
