How do you charge the wireless controller?

    Thanks.

You use AA batteries, unless you buy the Play & Charge Kit, in which case you charge via USB (on your 360 or PC or whatever).

Does the play and charge kit come with a rechargable battery?
Also how many batteries does it charge at once?

It comes with a battery pack. The Play & Charge Kit basically consists of a battery pack that plugs into the controller in the place of the batteries, and the charge cable that plugs into the controller itself.

To be honest, I don't think the Play & Charge Kit is entirely necessary, the batteries last for absolutely ages - I think I've had to charge twice since I got the machine at launch.

Great thanks for your help. I'm used to the lovely longevity of the wavebird and didn't want to end up spending ****e loads on batteries that last for mere hours. However if they last a decent amount of time, I may aswell just use regular ones.
          Thanks again.

          J.

So if you buy a premium pack, and the batteries die, you're up **** creek til you can get to a shop?

More heavy players like Mr. Fallows here might go through them faster =P

But I reckon the 360 controllers last every bit as long as the Wavebirds.

Chaps, buy yourselves some decent rechargeable AA's (2300mh), about tenner for four iirc (plus the cost of a mains charger), save you a fortune in the long run.

                  Maplin/Argos/Comet etc take your pick.

Oh they do give you some in the box then. Groovy. Mirosoft just keep giving don't they.
I think rechargables are the way forward.

Yeah, I'd agree. Spend the money on a play & chrge kit and it's the best option. The advantage over rechargables is that if you run out f juice midway between a game, you can connect the lead up to the 360 and keep playing.

The batteries that came with the 360 lasted me about 10 days. Thats cuz i'm teh h4rDk0rzzzz.

I put Lithium batteries in there and they lasted about a month.

If you planning on playing your 360 for more than 5 minutes a day then def buy a Play & Charge kit or get yourself some recharable batteries and a charger from Argos.

but +1 Play & Charge FTW!!

The Mother****ing ****ers at Microsoft should have included it with the Premium pack. Those money grabbin' ****faces.
