    Ok, 2 more questions then I'll **** off.
    If say I buy a play and charge effort. Can the wireless pad then be used for PC gaming with the charging wire thing? Because my understanding is that the wired pads main advantage is that.

    Also, maybe a daft question, but I'm dumb. Do you use the 360 pad to play regular Xbox games?
    And if so what happens with the black and white buttons from the old controller?

      nope, can't use wireless pads on the pc (even if you CAN plug the things in).

      yup, 360 pad... white and black buttons are placed on the 'buffers' above the triggers. i can't get used to it but i'm sure other simians can manage quite well.

        Cheers Crisp. Well that's a bit of a kick in the twunt. But at least if the battery goes on you, you can carry on playing this way.

          Dunno if it's any use but the wired 360 controllers work on a pc. Drivers etc. can be downloaded from the MS website.

            When not playing I just hook my controller up to the Sky+ box to re-charge it.
