i chose white cos it matches. i had a choice between yellow, white and red.
i used red on the old xbox cos i thought it'd look cool but this time went for white.
hasan: crikey ?2.50! no but still it was fun and, umm, educational. besides i had nothing to lose and everything to gain, and tbh i don't like optical cables anyway. i had a projector a while back and in order to hook up the 5.1 i needed to make a 5m coax cable for the xbox. imagine getting a 5m optical lead
actually i made it more work by drilling the hole in the metal as that took time to plan and decide where the hole should go. looking at case modder's tutorials, it seems i could've just discarded the top metal bit which would've saved me a few hours. plus i was watching the Smallville finale while doing it so i wasn't too bored!
