I do agree with Kron. Games are a little pricey and arcade stock is really expensive. They obviously have a loyal customer base for some reason though , and no doubt its down to their excellent service.

Can't fault VGI's service at all, great stuff, but even I must admit I'm curious as to who's buying these ?1300 Metal Slugs

can't add anything to what has already been said concerning LEE + VGI, other than I've managed to barter down a few of the pricey items, so he's flexible on prices aswell.
        nothing to lose by asking.

They can be busy at times i would reccommend that you phone them up if you want an issue dealt with emails are not always the best way to sort things out.

Again 10/10 for vgi, i always use them, super fast delivery, recently i ordered a sealed sat sf zero3 in the afternoon and it arrived next day, i was well pleased with that.

Just about to email them, and found I've just been emailed that the order has been dispatched. Sorted.

Minimal Pong futurism here I come.

I use them 3-4 times a year and would say they are usually very realible (if a liitle over priced). However i bought a Victor wondermega rg-m2 (?299.99 ish) from them a while back, that developed a fault. There was really bad static after about 30mins use over the screen (seemed to be when the console heated up, which meant that games were generally unplayable with screen corruption. Emailed the fault and then I returned it It took a fair while (i think about 2 weeks before i was contacted to confirm that they had received it and asked me to elaborate on the fault - i was told lees wife was having a baby and this attributed to the delay - fair enough). In conjunction with their returns policy of receiving faulty goods, i asked for a refund or shop credit. Initially they made me feel that i never wanted the machine and i was "chancing my arm" for a refund. This of course was bull****; i`m 33 not 15 and really wanted it to work. Lee gave me a variety of reasons to why the fault may be occuring, one example was because i was using the wrong voltage stepdown, (although they said 50W would be fine) and he told me he would test it. (he said he would take it home for the weekend to do this)

He came back to me and said in so many words there was feck all wrong with it, (he was using a higher wattage stepdown). Soooooooo i said fair enough (thinking it must be the stepdown) purchased a 300w brick stepdown, and the whole lot was return to me. The fault was intermittent, which meant the corruption wasn`t always there.

Fired it up and guess what.......yep the exact same.

Took it down to Yod@ (rllmuk modding/electronics whizz) and the same happened in his house. (Lee had said i might have had a "Spikey" electric supply in my house attributing to the fault ). Yod@ stripped it down to look for faults/loose soldering joints etc, but couldnt find anything (which most likely meant a blown component).

In all this cost me two deliveries (?37 ish and a step down which i bought and didnt need (?40 odd) and i was made to look a total arse into the process)

I never bothered return it/pursue a refund , because i coundn`t really be bothered after 5-6 weeks of misery) and sold it on ebay for half the price i paid for it - it sold even though i described the fault in the auction)

Moral of the story - I would buy games of them any time , but expensive hardware .......well what do you think.

I`ve got a lovely condition Victor Wondermega Rg-m1 now so i`m not to fussed

I've used them a number of times to buy new & sealed Saturn, PS and Mega CD games which have generally been mint - the cellophane that is.

I bought a 2nd hand Gleylancer for the MD last year and it was not in the condition described on the site so I was allowed to return it for a credit which I thought was OK. However the time and the amount of emails it took to get my refund was way too long. It took overt 2 months to get it. I was not going to ever use them again, but it is hard to find sealed Saturn games so I now only buy brand new stock and only use them as a last resort.

This is only my experience so take that for what it is worth.

                    agree with Luke

If the transaction goes ahead with no probems then its generally pretty good - but if there are any problems then it takes ages to get it rectified

i got a last blade 2 from them and the snaplock on the case was broken - so i asked if i could get another case

they told me i would have to wait until their cheapest cart (kof 95) came in stock and i would get that one - i asked them what they wanted me to do with the broken snaplock - they told me bin it

after waiting for 6 months i bought one from a guy in America and put the broken one away

it took just over a year to get the new snaplock and they werent going to send me the new one unless i sent the broken 1 first - so thankfully i kept it
