I couldnt see any threads about this yet suprising but the Vista Beta is out and is useable till July 2007. Im using it now and ive gotta say its fantastic. Yeah it uses loads of resources and needs a good spec machine to run but it looks fantastic and ive yet to run into any problems with it bugs wise. So is anyone else running it yet. Downloading now, 3.1gb, crikey thought they may have streamlined it since the 2gb cough versions appeared months ago but obviously not.
Virtually maxing out my line though which is good sign, thought it would be very slow.
Expect many posts from me, want to run this in tandem with XP (on two different hard-drives obviously)

Will it let you install alongside XP for a dual boot or will I also need to sort that out manually?
It will set up dual boot automatically if you install it from XP.

Where the suggestion that the 64bit version is less stable has come from is beyond me...they're both as good/bad as each other.
As for the comment about it not being an efficent way of running your pc, look at it this way.......is the fact that people have been buying 64bit processors then using 32bit O/S's efficent?
I've been using Vista for a couple of weeks and so long as a few of the bugs and incompatibility issues are ironed out in the final release I think Microsoft are onto a winner.
