I've been hoping to get progressive scan to work on my 3 main consoles, however had a few questions first.
Firstly, is it really worth the cost? I wanted it for the gamecube in particular but it seems that this will set me back around $80 for the component cable, and then i'd want a NTSC console and so forth to save me using the freeloader all the time, a new memory card (are PAL and NTSC saves not compatible because I have lots of mixed saves on my memory cards..?) and of course some NTSC games. Comparisons i've seen look really impressive ( http://ramblings.narrabilis.com/wp/h...endo-gamecube/ ) especially wind waker, but i'm not sure if all games will look this good. On top of this, is there any way of confirming whether i'll be able to use the component cable on the Wii?
A quick question on the PS2 and XBOX, will I actually need to buy NTSC consoles to get to play these in progressive scan as well or is it included in the PAL hardware and therefore I just need the component cable?
I recently upgraded to RGB on my PS2 and the difference is great, but I imagine it would look a lot better in progressive scan.
Thanks in advance,
Mike
