If by best you mean blurriest, then yes.
There's nothing wrong with traditional, sharp, one-colour fonts. Choice is fine but the way OS X and most Linux distros now force smoothed out font rendering on the user (or somehow manage to mess up traditional font rendering) pisses me off to the point that I avoid using them.
