Didn't know where to post this question >_<
Apparently, my mate Shmee doesn't have privileges to post new threads - what's that all about? Do you have to post a certain amount of times before you can start a thread yourself?
Also he wants to know if anybody can help him with this:
"I recently switched Modems for my PC and, since changing, I can no longer
connect wirelessly with my PSP.
Previously, I had a BT Voyager 105 USB ADSL Modem with AOL as my ISP. I
also had the PSP WifiMax Dongle. After initial problems, I was advised that
the AOL software conflicts with the PSP. The simple solution to this was to
create a new network connection via the Network Connections option, using my
AOL sign-on and password. This created a network connection without opening
the AOL software - and thus allowed my PSP to connect to the Wifi Dongle.
I now have a Thomson Speedtouch 576 v6 wireless router. After installing,
my AOL Broadband works fine, but the manual connection that I set up
previously no longer connects.
When creating a new connection in Network Settings on the PSP, all appears
to be fine. The connection test works and the new router is picked up.
However, when trying to connect to the internet browser i get the following
message "Communication with the server failed. A DNS error has occured
(8041040F)"
On games like SOCOM US Navy Seals, the PSP connects to the Infrastructure
Mode but cannot find any servers to connect to. The wireless connection
then times out.
I think it must be something to do with the AOL software again, but I'm not
sure. Any help with this particular router would be appreciated".
Ta fellas!!!
