Well some games such as excite truck and endless ocean/Forever Blue have mp3 support. So if you want ro play some custom (music)tracks, you need a SD card.

You can get the translation here.
        Excellent, thanks very much!

This isn't actually true, i just tried to connect my JPN version of Mario Strikers, with my friend who has a PAL version of the game and both of us got a 'this friend code is not recognised' message when trying to add the friend code.

Yep the sodding codes for Strikers are region encoded, the stupid idiots. I really bloody hope it isn't the case for Smash Bros otherwise I'll not be pleased...

Is anyone selling US systems anywhere these days? I feel foolish, but I can't spot one anywhere? Or are they just permanently out of stock?

Can somebody confirm that Wiis do not read, write or access automatically to/from the SD Cards themselves (ie. If you made a game save, the data goes straight to the Wii internal memory and not the SD Card)?

I imagine its always something they can change with network updates, but to date, no, I've never seen a save file been accessed from the SD Card.

IT always saves to the internal memory unless you physically order it to copy something in the memory manager. AFAIK there are only two games that can even access SD cards (Excite Truck and that glorified fish tank game) and that's only to read MP3 music.

This is probably an extremely daft question, but am i correct in thinking ASIA NTSC-J and JAPAN NTSC-J are the same thing? (Minus the region its sold in)

I'm guessing it's kinda like buying a PAL game in France and then running it on your UK machine, and should work right?

Yes, Asian software has the same region-coding (NTSC-J) as Japanese games so they'll work fine on a JPN system, but I wasn't aware that Nintendo made "Asian" games?

Where have you seen them? If it's on ebay, then beware as they could be pirates. I've seen loads of them on there.

Possibly Korean versions? Seem to remember P-A selling Korean copies of Mario Sunshine & Metroid on the GC.

                            Cheers!

I saw it on play-asia, the current weekly special is Sengoku Musou Katana for 7.60 ASIA NTSC-J version. Couldn't be pirate on Play-asia...? :-/

Hi, I'm thinking about purchasing an American Wii for use in the UK. I was wondering if anyone knows if PAL accessories such as Wiimotes and Gamecube controllers can be used with an NTSC console. Also, can I use a UK Wii power supply cable with an NTSC Wii without causing harm and can I use an RYW cable that normally comes bundled with a PAL Wii. Thanks.
