I use an external HDD to transfer files to/from the PS3. I'm sure USB pen drives would work too. If you have a 60GB model you can use the card reader.
As far as I know you can't download directly to the PS3 via the browser.
Aslo bear in mind that when you unzip the save file it'll be a directory called "BCJS30003_PROFILE" containing another directory called "BCJS30003_PROFILE" with the save stuff inside. Make sure you only copy the second directory containing the save stuff over otherwise the PS3 won't read the save.Last edited by Geezer; 15-01-2007, 21:08.

just a note about ncsx.com, they're real safe! They sent out my PS3 and they marked it down to $200 and i was lucky to not get stung by customs.
As they couldn't authorise my UK mastercard, they wanted me to scan and email images of the front of my statement, the front and back of my card. I did that, and the next day my PS3 was shipped.
Hopefully, this info will help.
By the way, i ordered my games from yesasia separately. They do free delivery and they pay the VAT/Duty so you don't have to worry about customs.

Ok, so I dowloaded the US save file to my Ipod in disk mode. The PS3 doesn't recognise any saves though.Any help much appreciated:
1) Is there a specific folder I should be creating on the ipod to put the data into?
2) I presume I use the save data utlity on the PS3 to read the data?
Thanks.

2) Yes, you should see the USB device there, selecting it will show the saves that are on it.

Ok, so I've found the save ok. I've deleted all the save stuff from the Asian game, and copied the US file over to in the save game utility. On starting, it looks the same to me. Should the difference in blood etc be immediately apparent on the first level? If it's not working, what am I doing wrong?

Resistance has two saves on the machine. One will be inside Saved data utility (a few kb) and the other is in Game data utility (129MB). Delete both, copy over the US save file, then boot the game.
EDIT: Also, yes, the blood will be there from the very first skirmish.Last edited by Geezer; 16-01-2007, 17:56.

Yeah, tried that but no dice. Just to check - what version PS3 and game are you running? I suspect it's this that is the issue. Am I right in thinking that you have a US game with JPN PS3? I have a HK game with JPN PS3...
When I boot the game, there is no option to continue etc, just new game. And as I posted above, the first level still seems bloodless.
