Cheers, there's actually about 190 PS2 games there. Roughly 180 unique games - got JP and US versions of Metal Gear and a few others where the story is important.

Yep, the big boxes are NeoGeo games, and you can see my PSP games in the 3rd pic, bottom right.

You're right about not seeing DS games though. I don't have one.

What can I say? It's bloody brilliant I stepped up from a 14" portable, so I would have been glad with almost anything. Still, I've tried GC through component, and the results are very good. I haven't been able to try much else, but my PS2 component cable arrived today and I tried to hook my PS2 up, but to no avail. I just can't seem to get a signal detected, so some tinkering should sort it tomorrow. Really, I've bought this for the 360, so December 2nd (hopefully) should have this set flexing it's muscles. There's a problem when connecting the TV through VGA that I've discussed a few times, but I haven't had the time (nor the funds) to test it out thoroughly. I've been playing my PS2 through RGB for the past few weeks, and it's been fine. Games like PES5 really show up the age of the PS2, whilst games like soul Calibur look lovely. Either way, you get a very playable picture. As for ghosting or smearing, I haven't noticed any yet. with time, I'll be looking more closely for this, but so far, it seems to be free of such issues For me it was between this, Sony S Series and Sammy. I decided to avoid the Samsung due to how common it is and that backlight adjustment is missing from the set, which was claimed is criminal for late night TV viewing. I never thought much of this, but having watched a movie in my room a few days ago, with the lights out, I can say this is a very important feature. As for the Sony, the only reason it was passed on was due to the hefty price. At 26" I simply couldn't afford to spend approximately ?200-?250 more, I'd rather have bought a GD7E.

As for the sticker, I almost removed it, but then left it on just in case I didn't like it. Fat chance of that happening, so it'll go once everything is in it's place. Think of it as the cutting of the ribbon

@kubrick: You always have to steal the limelight eh? Only kidding, that's a killer collection man. How much must you have spent on them, and more importantly, will you be doing the same for the next gen?

Nah, I don't fancy getting any of the next-gen machines for a while. Haven't really been convinced that I need a 360 so far. I'll be playing catch-up with my backlog of unfinished games when everyone else is playing that. If I had a telly like yours I'd maybe want one though.

wod, I've got 5 memory cards for the PS2. Weirdest game? I dunno, most of them are pretty "normal" or ones everyone has heard of. Apart from maybe Yanya Caballista featuring Gawoo a skateboarding game with cel-shaded graphics that comes with a minature skateboard add-on for the dualshock. It's crap.

Coming from someone with a setup like yours, I'll take that as a massive compliment.

I have a backlog of some killer titles too. Missing some of them is purely criminal, so I'll just keep quite about it......

                        Amazing collection kubrick (again).

Can I see some PAL psone games at the bottom?

The MD collection seems to be coming along nicely. And you need some more bookcases.

Yep, well-spotted That's the WipEout series, plus I have C&C Red Alert which isn't visible. Need the PSone for them since PAL games don't display properly on my PS2.

Kubrick - Top Collection! If I had a set up like that I would never leave my room

Themanwithapc - Am in the same position you were, cant decide between the Sharp, Sony or Panasonic 26 inch.

What sort of picture adjustments can you make on your screen? Can you adjust Gamma by any chance as I find that at the moment all my Games on my 21inch CRT come up very dark and I have to ramp up the brightness to be able to see anything...

I also had a look at the Panny too, but the lack of VGA kind of took it out of contention, and it cost about the same as the Sony. At bigger screen sizes, it would have been a more difficult choice, but at 26" there really wasn't anything to think about.

As far as adjustments, I'm a TOTAL newb when it comes to them. There's loads of options in the menus, so I'd assume someone who knows exactly what they're doing could get a seriously good looking picture. If you're worried about games looking too dark, you can alter the brightness. As a quick run through there are (just for picture settings) :

                                Contrast,
                                Brightness,
                                Colour,
                                Sharpness,
                                Backlight,
                                OPC,
                                I/P Setup,
                                Mov Comp.,
                                Comb filter,
                                Noise reduction,
                                Dynamic const,
                                Dynamic gamma,
                                Monochrome,
                                Colour temp,
                                NTSC hue

                                Hope this helps.
