personally i love them, but then i've always preferred (expected?) a bit more low end from my floorstanders. that said, surely it's better to have the low end available if you want it and just tweak it out? as i mentioned above there's much more expensive speakers which don't kick out the amount of power that these do... ?150 is a top price if you have the room and don't mind how they look (i've the woofers covered up with material tacked onto them as my ferrets nibbled themlook less intrusive now but still sound pretty damn good!)
**edit: a piccy from earlier in the year when i acquired the kit... just covered with some midweight cloth which is tacked to the back of them.

what are your thoughts on the speakers? i've a set and i love them, they sound pretty ****ing big considering they cost me ?150... big chunky sounds, perfect for games/films/great big dance tracks.

When I get my 360, that white case will just have to go.

I just joined the forums within the last two weeks, and there so many great set-ups on show in this thread. Good work guys.
Geezer - 2 XBox360's !!! Nice, I've yet to get one!
Here's my current assortment.
Japanese Saturn & Dreamcast with unmodded Pal XBox underneath. Two RGB Scart switch boxes behind lead into the quintro box below.
The Quintro box handles the incomming RGB signals from the switch boxes, the XBox, DVD and Freeview box.
Japanese Midnight blue PS2 and Spice Gamecube switch mod Japanese/American.
Playstation with modchip and my PC Engine briefcase both live under the TV.
My rear projection TV is getting on but still does a very good job. Scene from the opening credits of Super Dimension Fortress: Macross on PS2.
The gamescase is now overcrowded to bursting point there are up to three layers of games stacked in it. The main display is this.
Layer 2 and some items that just don't fit on there anymore.
As for the third layer I didn't take any pictures as it's just some old XBox and Gamecube titles that aren't really worth mentioning.
Well that's about it. I'll be looking forward to expanding it some more in due course.
