Unsure why you'd need a DVD player, 360 upscale IIRC. And I'd swap out the modded PS2 for my TEST. :P
Even so, lovely.
TEST PS2s have weak lasers too...Kept you waiting, huh?

The nodded PS2 has had the voltage controller for the laser reduced to lower the chance of the laser burning out.
At least that's what the guy who modded it said. Can't remember the name of the website but I went to Maida Vale tube station and a guy called Will sorted it all out.
Never had any problems with it either!

Romeo mod, that is. Not all PS2 require it, just the first model of slim and the original SCPH-5000x, which it looks like you have.
I wouldn't assume TEST lasers are any weaker than their respective retail consoles, just the majority of them are of the 3000x series, which has the laser problems eh?
I have a mint laser at hand anyway just in case.Last edited by speedlolita; 17-01-2010, 20:50.
