Bring it down to 480p and it'll be decent. I've always thought the PS3 should auto-switch down when running PS2 games, but alas it is a annoying manual process.
    Kept you waiting, huh?

It used to, before they added upscaling. I swear you can disable the upscaling actually. That said, chances are the PS3 would do a better job of scaling than the telly. It's going to be scaled at some point, a TV only has one resolution.

This is the mount I used, it took me a while to find it but it's perfect for the job.

I'm still on the look out for something sturdy but cool looking and those look like they might tick both boxes.

It's from Ikea, or rather a man with a van with several going cheap *nodnodwinkwink* on ebay.

If that link didn't work to the one I won, the proper name/details are: Ikea Norrebo, 4 tier birch shelving unit. Dimensions: 185cm long, 121cm tall and 38cm wide.

Photos a bit dark but that serves to hide the mass of cables at the back of the unit!

My Sony HT-IS100 is just to the left of the photo with the PS3, 360 and DVD player running into it via HDMI and the Wii hooked up via Component.

Apart from the Wii and PS2 department I like it. HT-IS100 FTW too

                            Aren't they cute!!?

The others are Mai Shiranui and Athena Asamiya from KOF and then Haruhi Suzumiya and Tsuruya-San from the Haruhi J-Culture juggernaut.

I've got a couple more too which are still in the packaging as they're a bit special: Winter Package Special and an Animate Staff Member "Pinky:cos".

I really want the Mikuru Asahina and Yuki Nagato from Haruhi.

                              That setup is perfect, almost.

Unsure why you'd need a DVD player, 360 upscale IIRC. And I'd swap out the modded PS2 for my TEST. :P

                              Even so, lovely.

DVD player is multi-region as I've got looooads of R1 anime. Also the Xbox isn't the quietest DVD player in the world.
