I have a completly new retro set up - had a lovely 14" flatscreen triniton (which was amazing), but I managed to find a 29" (yes 29") 4:3 silver bezelled flatscreen triniton!! It is without doubt, the finest CRT RGB scart picture i have ever seen. Its a total beast though (nearly 50kg) and I nearly did my back in transporting it and then carrying up stairs to my flat; but well worth it.

after 3 weeks of geometry tweaks its almost ready to be unveiled - a real pain to get it right, but its almost there. An RGB'ed jp N64, Switched/chipped saturn, chipped ps one and chipped ps2 are linked up to it.

    pics soon :-)

its a nightmare - you think you have it, but viewing an image from another console highlights flaws. I dont think its possible to get it perfect on an old set, but i'm damn close

It's even worse on a 16:9 CRT, believe me.

After the move I'm finally getting there with my new set up, I'm trying to keep it very minimalistic but despite getting rid of tons of stuff I've still run out of storage space

Any luck mate? Can't see them myself on ikea's website

Looking underneath them they are from Ikea, the units are called "Corras". I haven't been up to the local Ikea yet, maybe a discontinued line?

I moved in with my Girlfriend a few weeks ago and over the Easter Weekend, I’ve finally finished sorting out and building our new furniture.

Along with clearing out physical stuff, I sorted out my digital content too and came across these old photos that showed off my set up. Unfortunately I don’t have my pre-2006 set up as it would have shown off my man cave (Bedroom) that housed 20 consoles and hundreds of games.

2006 was just after I had cleared out the loft and was still in the height of my Anime collection.

2007 resulted in another big cull but was bolstered by my 360.

2008 was one of the final sort outs I had where everything bar my 360, PS2, PSP and my Laptop was sold or thrown out. Also a lovely HDTV replaced an equally lovely Sony Trinitron SDTV.

2012 results in a new place where I’ve currently only got my PSone hooked up to the TV and my Girlfriends Wii alongside it. I’ve bowed out of this generation of consoles as I’ve completed everything I want and will be picking up a 3DS to play some fun games I’ve not touched before.

As soon as the next generation of consoles are released, I’ll be jumping back in!

You'd be better off cropping the guitar out your pictures before anyone gets upset about your inadequate storage method..............

The alter at which I worship the church of Nintendo...

The camera on my iPhone 4 is rubbish so it doesn't really show my 40" Sony "Picture Frame" TV or 480p Zelda in all it's glory.

At the moment I just have a Red PAL Wii in the AV-unit and an Apple TV2 box hiding under the TV (damn infrared remote!) but hopefully by the end of the year there'll be a Wii U in there too Storage-wise I have the red cabinet below dedicated to gaming, no point really showing contents at the moment as it just contains:

                          8x Wii Games
                          1x Gamecube Game
1x Club Nintendo Gold Wii Wheel
1x Club Nintendo [Japan] Super Famicom Controller
+ a box of Japanese DC games I have in the sales thread.

BUT I'm hoping to fill it with more Club Nintendo Japan stuff and a Jap GBA collection between now and Wii U launch.

Well I hid the dodgy bits... Mainly I NEED a better corner sofa and cushions (a nice light cream/light grey fabric Laura Ashley one or a white leather Ikea one I'm thinking?)

And my desk did have twinkle-lights under the glass but I spilt a can of cherry coke over the power pack-thing and they don't work anymore (I did not take it well. I was playing through Skyward Sword at the time and my foul mood from the cherry coke incident is probably why I now rate that as the worst Zelda.)
