I'm 2 years into a PhD at the moment, and I stay there all year round. My room's located in a very secure area for graduate students so there's no chance of any of it getting stolen. I wouldn't keep so much stuff if I was an undergraduate.

Bush TV from Aldi bought for the princely sum of ?150 after seeing it advertised in the paper. Can't say im entirely happy with it as the quality is **** but i have a tv to play games on and it even transmits television channels!
Immaculate Panasonic Q modded, Crystal Ltd Ed Xbox (unchipped), recently bought back N64 and the load of games iv bought in the far left. Donkey Konga drums also shown (cant wait for Donkey Konga 2 out in a few weeks!)
Xbox games also shown on the floor in the bottom left. They are the only 4 games i play on Live. Heh. I'm trying to be good and sell the rest i dont need.

So I've made some rather large changes to my setup:
New TV and the addition of a Supergun with built-in screen.Last edited by Naiera; 27-06-2004, 20:24.

Here's three pictures of my PAL setup in my bedroom. Not particulary 56kbps friendly (images between 200k and 450k).
Might see if I can grab some shots of my main setup downstairs.
Got quite a bit planned for the bedroom setup yet, I've still got to make up the adaptor I need for my projector to do RGB and component [for progressive scan:-)]. Currently the only cables running to the projector are the power cable and the VGA cable from the PC. Every console (apart from the Mastersystem mk2) is run thriugh the AV reciever with the composite output from the reciever piped into the PC on the bottom shelf (the white cube under the dreamcast). As you can imagine, it doesn't give the greatest display possible from the consoles (jeese I'm only using composite to start with) but combined with DScaler on the PC, it is pretty sharp :-)
Am definately going to have to invest in some cable tidies though, there are far too many horrible black cables visable behind and next to the PC :-(

My green modded xbox, sony 1070 amp and a pair of cheap speakers and an out of shot 21" Sony tv.
The space in the middle is normally either taken up by HK N64 or my modded Saturn, but they've been boxed up for the moment.

Sky+, Panasonic DVD Player (RA82 for DVD Ram playback), Panasonic DVD Recorder, Pansonic Q, Joytech AV Centre and one of those de facto Argos RGB Switchers (for changing DVD Recorders input signal).
I need more inputs

Unmodded crystal xbox, PAL PS2, US Dreamcast and small network hub.

LG Home Cinema Kit (works very well in a small enough room) and Sony 28" widescreen... a nice of shot from Test Drive Le Mans which I've started playing again.

I love that little set up. Sony make ace little TVs don't they? That's probably one of my favourite set ups I've seen for a while. Nice and neat and tidy, and all in one place. Good job.

I'm still really loving that setup. I've looked at it like 5 times now.
I hope when I go to Uni i'll have a setup like that. How much roughly is one of those Tvs? They look like they produce a great picture.

My setup's a bloody mess at the moment, loads of tangled up cables all over the floor and dust everywhere. I'm going to need a soapy wet cloth after I've spent 2 days untangling everything. I might take a pic tonight for the crack.
I'm sticking with my PSOne + screen + FFVII for the 5th time thru at the mo' because I can't be arsed with the mess. I desperatley need to find my Neo RGB cable so that I can play Real Bout but I simply can't be arsed.
I need to get back to VJ as well at some point. Fcuk knows where my Wavebird receiver is.
