To be honest I hate a messy room but finding time to clean with a child is hard. The worst thing is that my son and wife make the most mess and I have to clean up after them. Annoying really when it's my room

Where did you find a WH Smiths in Japan mate?

P.S You gonna show us your storage room Yakumo!?

That bag is from the UK In it are magazines that I have featured in by either a review of my site or Retro Core or actual interviews. I must have had that WH Smiths bag for 5 or more years now.

Hmm, one day I may video or at least take pictures in my storage room but there's a problem. No video or pictures can be taken for security reasons. Odd rule when I'm the on who pays for the room.

Nice and efficient setup Yakumo. Do you have much space in your house?

          Comment

Yeah, I've got loads of space but my gaming room is pretty small so I try to keep it to the basics that I use often. I have a few other hardware units in my bedroom closet and the boxes for everything in my pictures but as for the bulk of stuff it's a few miles away in the storage room.
At the moment I'm working on a Saturn games display. It will probably contain about 20% of the 1300 titles I own for that system.

              That's pretty funny.

All the lovely stuff you have and I was drawn to the anomaly that is the WH Smiths bag!

I was sure you lived in Japan, but they don't have Smiths, or do they?

Thanks for putting my mind at rest!

@QualityChimp - Nah, no WH Smiths in Japan but there are Boots,The Body Shop, HMV and Virgin Megastore oh and a Tescos. None in the city where I live though.

@yesteryeargames - Ah, you mean the Zoom? Yeah, it works really well with most games. I've had fantastic results with Dance Dance Revolution, Dance Central 2, Forza 4, Kinect Adventures, All the Kinect Labs stuff and Kinecamls or what ever that tiger game is called. There is one game that is a pain in the arse though until you find the sweet spot and that's the Michael Jackson game. I don't know why but that game seems to loose track of your position quite a bit or at least for my wife it does. Personally I'm fine with it.

Overall it's a fantastic bit of kit well worth buying if you are limited for space. There is a down side though. It makes your Kinect pictures have a slight fish bowl effect to them plus the inferred view that shows in games and on the 360 dash has loads of interference around the edges of the image. It doesn't effect the games though in 1 or 2 player mode.

Here's my small setup. Wish I had a 1080p TV so I could plug my PC directly into it as a 2nd monitor for animu watching. Has no overscan compensation settings either. Erk. Oh well.

Nice to have consoles through proper speakers finally too.

Cool, what are the statue/figures on the speakers?

On the left is a Dinosaur from the Natural History Museum and a small Tsuruya statue (Haruhi). On the right:

Tut tut, look at the dust at the bottom of the speakers

Nice setup, especially like the easy access to Gameboys for emergency on the move gaming

I've been meaning to post in this thread forever now. My setup has changed about 6 times since joining the forum, twice due to moving, and is finally pretty much how I want it. I won't list kit unless people want to know as I doubt you do(!) but basically everything can go to three screens thanks to an HDMI splitter. Only posting the full picture of the main TV, the rest are thumbnailed so as not to take up the whole page!

Nice man. Are those Wharfedale 9.1 at the front and 9.0 at the back?

Took a pic of my setup for Christmas.

                              Yay 480i!
