Right, this is my current set up. To be honest i think its pretty lame, aside from the Panny DVD recorder and the TV (which gives a great picture, but i do badly want a plasma). Im embarassed that i havent bothered doing anything with the room for so long now (im 25 and there is a god damn poster of Jennifer Aniston on the wall still, albeit a good one!) and im using boxes as a speaker stand and pringles boxes to elevate my aerial! Believe me, im seriously trying to move out.

Anyway, im posting it so that when i get a new place and eventually get all the new equipment i want, i can come back and admire the difference

Thanks, i was going to get a set of speaker stands for my old missions (700LE), but decent stands are around ?50 and for ?50 more i got these M73i from Richer Sounds.

I was going to get some M73s from RS as well. But the arseholes there messed me around, wouldn't sell them to me for the right price, tried to sell me shoddy alternatives etc . So I went to Sevenoaks and bought some M32s instead. They're bookshelf speakers, and the next range up from the M7 range. I'm so glad I bought them and didn't settle for something else

I also bought some Alphason stands which makes a big improvement over putting them on the floor

There all from play asia (though think you can get them at lik-sang also). I think the Zelda, Capcom and Namco gashapons are still available (complete sets are around ?8.50 each), sadly the famicom collection looks like its out of stock for ever!.

I brought the display cases from Muji in Birmingham for ?8.50 each.

Rlench, I looked at the Alphason stands and they indeed looked the muts nuts but they'd make my ancient speakers look naff so thought i'd go for the floor standers. I just need to dry some sand for the base now!
