why cant you have it all down on your home insurance?
they offer money back at ?2000 per item or collection
per item its good but for a collection its very poor

Originally posted by hasanhadibut how big did they say the collection limit was, becasue you can have a 'collection' of ps2 games, another 'collection' of neo-geo games, etc.
so in the policies that alliance and leicester sell its ?2000 per single item or ?2000 for a collection
if i could get away with ?2000 per single item within a collection - the policy would be incredible
gonna shop around when i get some leaveLast edited by buster_broon; 21-11-2004, 19:40.

What a great thread - so very reassuring to know im not the only one, and most of you guys put my collection to shame (watch out, it'll only motivate me to get more)
anyway, here it is
the problem with my collection is i dont have any shelves/cabinets in my gaming room yet, so its all just sort of chucked around the house until then - i dont really have that many unique consoles (compared to some of you), but i do tend to have 2/3+ of each consoleLast edited by Pirotic; 23-11-2004, 19:11.

I do think every collection needs a spectrum.
Wish i could fit it all together for one big picture, but i have such a ****ty old digicam it can't do a high enough resolution (something for the christmas list i think).
What do you guys consider consoles?

After an entire weekend of sortin this lot out think I've finally got a setup I'm happy with
I'd say the Amiga CD32 was definately a console. The aim of my collection, jus pretty much buyin stuff I like the look of and keeping the stuff I do like.
Stuff that isn't pictures are my 48k "rubber keyboard" speccy (Ginger Tosser is right, EVERY1 needs a speccy in their collection)got a Pair of +3s somewhere too, and commodore 64 and a couple of Amiga 500s and an Atari ST, all that lot (along with the masses of games) are up in the loft and the consoles that are wrapped up in one pic have been put into the loft as replacements and so they're outta the way.
There is a little bit more in my bedroom, a few SNES/N64 games inc CastleVania a Vampires Kiss and Mario Kart etc and a Philips CDI machine amongst others got a brand new boxed Game.com lyin around somewhere too.Last edited by MikeRox; 06-12-2004, 00:43.
