I've got a crappy 500 quid Sony package just now but I've been meaning to upgrade for a long time.

    Going for these fronts:http://ws4.richersounds.com/showprod...L-STUDIO10-BCH
    Centre: http://ws4.richersounds.com/showprod...=MORD-905C-MAP
    Amp:http://www.superfi.co.uk/index.cfm/p...roduct_ID/2074
And probably for the rears, the M32's but I'm just not too sure.

What you think? Should be good yes?

And I'm not a fan of Subwoofers.

That Denon amp looks like a bargain mate.

Thats the thing I wasn't sure of too!

Thats made me a bit happier, cheers! Should be able to handle the speakers easily yes?

Agreed, that amp is fantastic for the price

For the speakers though I'd recommend using speakers from the same brand.

          What about:

Two pairs of Mission M32s (front left/right. Surround left/right)

          ?240 (?120 each)

          Front Centre - Mission M3c2

          ?113

Because that amp is 6.1, do you want a rear surround speaker? (To go between rear left/right ie right behind the seating position) If so then

          Mission M3c1

          ?77

(or you could buy another M3c2)

That would give you an excellent system, save you money and, IMO, sound a lot better.

Oh and definitely consider a sub in the future. When they're integrated properly they can completely improve the sound of every other speaker. Buying a sub was the smartest upgrade I ever made

Cool man, thanks for the advice, I was really wanting to go for floorstanders for the front for an overall stronger sound, etc but I'll def have a think about what you recommended, just need to buy the stands for the front and brackets for the rears which I would have needed anyway.

I was just gonna leave the rear surround for now but I may aswell for only 80 quid for that Mission M3c1. Good skills my man.

Infact, I think I'll just get all of that!

I'll just steal my Sony sub from the living room downstairs if need be, no-one would notice the difference without it anyway! :P

Good stuff You could always buy a pair of Mission M33 (huge floorstanders) for the fronts but, IMO, it would distort the sound too much when moving from left/right>centre or vice versa. The M32s would sound better with a centre speaker, IMO

I use Alphason stands for my speakers - ?30 from Argos but I think the model is out of stock now. Any big stand from Alphason would be fine though...they're great stands. Nice and sturdy, heavy, and they look good with these speakers

Nah, I'm gonna stick with the 32's.

Just need to find decent wall brackets for the rear surrounds which I'm not sure about as I think my walls are freakishly thin...

For the fronts though, I'm just gonna use the Mission Stands.

You've been a great help tonight, thanks alot.

Personally i'd of gone for the bookshelf missions over those.

You're going to notice a difference in sound, especially say, when a helicopter comes over and it goes around the room, it'll sound different as it passes around you.

                    Happy to help

Wise choice, stick with similar size speakers and you'll hear a big improvement. Don't wall mount them though...they're HEAVY as well as big (about 8kg iirc)

The mission stands (Stancette?) are great but about twice as much as the Alphason ones. Buy the Alphason ones and treat yourself to a few DVDs

007, the M32s are the bookshelf ones. The M33 are floorstanders and an older model (they use an older driver)

Yeh, I couldn't find any decent Alphason ones, the ones I seen were either expensive or really cheap and not sturdy looking at all?

You got any links or even a picture of yours so I know what I'm looking for.

                        I use these ones

They're the sturdiest stands I've ever seen, and were really easy to build

picked up the shelving from the shop that was closing down. Haven't seen anything even close to this one since and I don't mind anotehr one for our guest room setup...

                          anyone with any idea?
