I offered up the X3000, which will be a good alternative, as it will have 100/120Hz and 1080p24 support. I wouldn't buy any LCD without these features, or any other kind of display without 24Hz support now that it is available.

Personally I don't feel the extra money for the X over the W is justified though (again, wait for the W3000 if you want 1080p, get the D3000 if it's not necessary or you need a TV now)

If you're not determined to get an LCD, the new 8th Generation Pioneer Plasmas are looking to be the best display you can buy right now bar none.

Figured I'd post my setup. Apologies for the poor pictures but my camera is old, the flash is broken and I'm a terrible photographer.

Not really a gaming set up as such but still it might interest some. Just mounted a 23" LCD in the bedroom. Nice

Just moved house, have taken the 50" pioneer off the wall and it now looks facking enormous! Bought a new stand, stuck the Wii and 360 on it, and relegated my GC, PS2, and SFC Jr to the cupboard... For now.

OK, some pics out the window then.

I look at your setup and I'm jealous Hasan, looks like your little gaming spot where no one bothers you and you can just get on with your gaming.

                      Pikmin is mega btw!

See that plastic tub in the third pic? Thats where my roof started leaking. Had to put a plastic sheet on the roof until the builder can come round to sort it out.

And yes, no dares come in here. I even have supplies to last me a bit so I don't have to go out either.

Ive been drooling over you guy's set-ups for a good while now, so i thought i would put mine up

Not up to the same standard as some of you guys, but here is my gaming "Desk" With the consoles i use the most and my PC tower, all running through my Samsung 23" LCD

My other consoles (NES, SNES, DC, Saturn, 2x Xbox) are in the other part of the room and i cant be arsed to photo them, as they are still in one hell of a mess. Even moreso than my desk tbh!!

                          (Jeez, i hope that works!)

That's because it IS enormous foo.

I'm predicting a few drinks followed by mashed shins on the corners of that stand Take care man.
