Get firmware AT 6.35 OR OLDER if you want to do anything at all with it. Can't help beyond that I'm afraid.

If you have the older versions (for PSP model 1000 series) they will probably not work.

The 6.36 will be fine, I recently bought a PSP-3000 with 6.36 installed so I went through the process myself. You can downgrade to either 6.35 or 6.20 using an exploit. From there, you can run the PRO-B5 CFWs for whichever firmware you downgraded to.
There is no released exploit for 6.37+ yet, but 6.38 has already been hacked so it's just a matter of time until they release the hack.Last edited by sj33; 04-05-2011, 15:31.

whats the latest firmware i can put on my PSP 1000? it has the 5.50 gen thing on it and ive seen there is 6.39 but is that for the PSP go?
