I'm having problems playing .XVID and .DIVX files (which is annoying, as I only have 8). The files play okay but Windows has an annoying habit of doing one of the following....
Hanging
Rebooting
Blue Screening
when I play files, jump into the middle of a movie (normally causes a crash) or load files.
The errors when it does display them all seem to be with memory or paging. :/
Anyone got any suggestions, it's the latest version of MP9 and installing an older version doesn't seem possible. The XVID and DIVX codecs are the latest ones too (not that I can find older ones anyway). If anyone know a freeware program that will test the memory then that'll be good.
(Note about piracy : The movie files I'm playing are for DVDs or Videos that I own and can't bring with me on my long trips abroad.)
