Thanks, I'm glad I've finally made the jump.

Watch out for some of the MV1B's - theyve got a bios thats geared towards Irritating Maze - some later games have troubs with them as well. The unibios sorts out 99% of the issues that most of the troublesome 1 slots have with later games

I'm not sure which bios it had originally but it is now fitted with a unibios version 2.3 so I think I'm alright there. I won't know if it's had a socket added for future proofing until it get's here. I really didn't bother asking questions before I bought it, other than to ask to get the quickest shipping from France, silly, impulsive urges.

Done many more hours reading over a neo-geo.com on the subject of MV1 compatibility and found next to no references to my board. I'm going take that as a good thing.

I'm hoping that it gets here tomorrow.

Day off work and a weekend ahead would be a nice time to get the thing and try it out first hand.

It's arrived today and everything appears to be ok.

I did have a little heart in mouth moment when trying out my first game as the bios screen came on and then loaded to a black screen, then nothing.

I saw the pause button, flicked that the other way and then it loaded, phew!

Rage of the Dragons seems to fine with this board and I'm happy.
