Also, how far are you from the screen? If you're too close then the machine will exaggerate the natural shakiness of your hands (even if it's just caused by your pulse, everyone's hands shake a little, especially if you're holding something out in front of you).

I'll give it a try tonight!

I'm actually quite far from the screen - About roughly 5-6 meters away.

I find that some games have the problem, some don't. In teh exact same conditions. For example, I get point-o-shake in the Mii channel but when I go back to the Wii menu everything is fine again.

Yeah, some games just seem to be more unforgivingly accurate whilst others snap to an invisible grid. Some games like Zelda:TP and Metroid Prime 3 have calibration or sensitivity option too so it's worth checking the menus.

There's one thing I find that personally helps with my setup. I have the bar on top of the TV, which is on top of a tall stand. If i leave the edge of the bar flush with the front of the TV, my remote's sensitivity is compromised. However, if I let the front edge of the bar overhang by half a centimetre it's much better.

I used to use the little stand for it Nintendo bundle in, but that's lost now :/

I blutac the back of my sensor so it points down a little. Works great.

the sensor bar comes with a tiny clear plastic stand to raise it up slightly because (according to my friend Andy) the emitters on it are actually on the side and the bottom, so by putting it on the little clear stand u get better pickup. It's handy for the top of my tv since its soooo far up compared to the sofa I'm on.

Emitters, eh? These 'emitters' are actually just some LEDs, believe it or not, and obviously they face out to the front This is why christmas tree lights, bright lamps etc interfere with it. The remote simply detects certain light sources and the Wii works out where you're pointing based on the points of reference in the sensor bar.

The little stand is actually just for people with plasmas, LCDs etc who don't have a flat surface to sit the bar on - they can sticky the stand onto the set instead.

Maybe he meant the LEDs were "emitting" light!?

I did, and presumably they are, although now you mention it that is a strange way to phrase it slightly lol.
