My TT works fine with a 4gig card. The only thing I would say is that I've noticed if I try and copy to much data in one go to or from the card it corrupts and needs reformatting.

No experience of Moonshell with TT myself. I only use it to play DS games.
    Kept you waiting, huh?

I've seen a few of the issues mentioned with the TT.

I originally copied a bulk copy to the card and it got corrupted but at the time I thought it was more a fault of my USB2 hub I was using than the card as I had problem with it before. I also have memory slots on my printer so I swapped over to using that with an SD adaptor and that works fine, I copied a good 1GB of stuff across to it in one go and it copied fine. My MicroSD card is formatted to FAT and not FAT32 if that makes any difference.

I have the same issue with the file order, its not alphabetical but the order the files are copied across to the card. As mentioned above the solution is to copy it back to the PC and copy it across in one go which will maintain the ordering.

As for moonshell, mine works fine. I havent use moonshell before (this is my first DS card device) so I followed the instructions to compile it on the PC and copy it to the card. Made a folder called Media on my card and dumped a few .jpgs and a .dpg file in there. Can see them fine in moonshell and they run fine.

My only question is whats the best convertor for video conversion to .DPG. Ive got one called BatchDPG, also have SUPER on my PC but I've had varying levels of success with them. Audio gets out of synch or video gets pixelated but some conversions have been watchable.

      Any advice?

Im planning to buy my niece & nephew a card device each in a month so I might grab a supercard and check out the differences to see if its any better. R4, TT, Supercard all seem to be about the same with subtle differences as far as Ive read but the proof is in the usage.

As far as playing games on the TT though they work perfectly and I like the menu layout, brightness settings etc. I did have one issue where I knocked the card accidentally playing brain training as the DS is up on its side and that froze the game and had to reboot. Annoying but have since learnt to watch my big hands when playing.

Also last thing... battery life with these cards seems hugely reduced compared to a normal cart? Mine lasts around oooh 6 hours if I am lucky on the standard battery. Is it worth investing in a larger capacity battery?

Oh and lastly anyone tried QuakeDS?

Im tempted to check that out after seeing a few youtube demos of it but I find playing FPS games on the DS a really difficult prospect as it doesnt have that wee thumb stylus strap. Anyway useful methods for playing FPS such as Metroid? I gave that a go but just couldnt handle the controls.

I've been thinking about picking one of these up and I've been reading around but I could do with a little advice.

I'm reading about differences between v1 models and v2 models. What are the differences and which should I get?
What is the maximum memory size that these can accept?

          Cheers!

          EDIT:
Also, if people are thinking about selling one of theirs I may well be interested.
