I didn't realise. I thought HK was just the name of the courier! Having the prices in US$ must have thrown me.

I ended getting mine off Amazon in the end, expected to pay around £35 for it.

Mine came from Amazon's Marketplace today for ?34 delivered, the seller was r4revolution. Delivery was quick and they included their own useful instructions in the Jiffy Bag. Now I'm just waiting for my MicroSD card to arrive, which will hopefully be tomorrow. I love how dainty it all is, including the packaging!

My MicroSD card arrived today. How quick and easy is the R4 to use. Brilliant!

I got my R4 up and running with a 2 GB MicroSD on Saturday and everything was working fine, now when I try to load the Multimedia menu it just freezes on "Game loading". I've tried copying the contents of Kernel v1.15 again replacing what's already there and it still freezes. The Games menu still loads fine. Any ideas?

Ive got a DS TT, seems to load a little faster than the R4 but thats about it and it was cheaper.

I got mine from www.gadgetgear.com.au but then Im in Australia... There is a new supercard model out as well. Choices, choices.

The TT has a much clearer menu imo. It also uses SDHC cards up to 4GB, which is good.
                Kept you waiting, huh?

Yeh I am using a 4gb toshiba card so I can vouch for that.

Ive got no issues with the DS TT, does exactly what it says on the tin.

Still choosing between CycloDS Evolution (black) and TT (instead of R4 because no HC support). Any differences? (apart that the Cyclo gets a firmware update now and then)

Not really familiar with the TT, but read its specifications, and it doesn't differ much actually...

The Toshiba (Japanese make) seems to be the best choice for speed consistency, yes.

Make sure you've left enough space on your card for the system write what ever it has to. Usually it will throw up an error telling you, but that could be the problem.

Also, if you have previously tried to load multimedia content (large jpegs / videos) it can sometimes for no apparent reason go haywire - the way around that is to delete the last piece of media you loaded off of the card. I have no idea why any of this happens, but the above steps fixed mine when it went wrong.

There's plenty of room left and I've managed to get it working again by fiddling about with formatting and the kernels.

I'm quite interested in the CycloDS Evolution if only for the fact that you can buy a matching Slot-2 device. The TT definitely outshines the R4 for me now though.

The only thing I didn't like about the TT was that your games were not in alphabetical order. Last night I found out that if you copy your entire SDHC folder onto say your desktop, go into it and sort the list by name. Then copy it back to the SDHC, and games will now display in alphabetical order. Much easier to manage.

The latest 1.08 firmware adds brightness setting via L too, just like the R4.

I'm having trouble getting Moonshell to work on my TT card. Any ideas? Moonshell works/loads but none of the media files I've copied across appear in its menu. I've checked and they are compatible file extensions.

My TT works fine with a 4gig card. The only thing I would say is that I've noticed if I try and copy to much data in one go to or from the card it corrupts and needs reformatting.

I looked at one of these but I don't think it supports SDHC cards.
