How much does a DC VGA cable cost and where from?

I'm intrested in getting a Dreamcast VGA Cable for my HDTV and was wondering if anywhere still stock them aside from eBay?

The only place I've seen them new is on Rob Webb's website... not sure where else you could try.

Looked in the normal places. You could drop this chap an email http://gamechoiceclub.com/ and ask if he can help.
Other forumites that live in japan maybe?

          That was quick!

Thanks ever so much for the advice you two, I'll have a look at those two websites after work. I'm after a new but reasonably priced cable so I'm hoping they'll come up trumps.

I've just order one from Robert Webb, does the sound go though the VGA cable?

The vga box should have a headphone socket on it.

No you'll have to connect a headphone jack to L&R phono lead to your tv for amp.

I note that the one from Rob Webb doesnt seem to have a TV switch. On the vga box I have, this lets you fool the DC game into thinking you are not using a VGA cable so that you still get a signal for nonvga compatible games. I'm a bit hazy in this area though.

It's just to avoid having to change the cable connected to your Dreamcast if the game doesn't support VGA. It won't allow you to trick it into using VGA, unfortunately.

Hold on, are you telling me this cable will only work with SOME Dreamcast games?

                        It's allllmost all of them.

The only major ones I can think of right now are the PAL version of Skies Of Arcadia and Bangai-O.

                        There's a list here: http://www.racketboy.com/retro/2006/...lity-list.html

Anyway, get one! It looks so great in VGA.

Phew! My favourite DC game is on there....................Shadowman!

                          What? it's awesome.

Silly how all of the 2D games have pixcelated problems.

What does it mean TV only? I plan to use the VGA on a HDTV.

It means it won't work through VGA. Like Magnakai said, pretty much all games support VGA, and the ones that don't (such as Skies of Arcadia and RE:CV PAL versions) you could just obtain USA copies of, which do.
