Maybe from your end it isnt working or something?

All replies have been really enthusiastic and friendly as well, not just run of the mill standard replies!
Bizarre, I honestly never get emails from them apart from the usual auto-generated stuff. Maybe it was an off-week or something, but I emailed about 4 times though their form and no response any of those times.

Still I have been recommending them, their delivery is second to none, and the prices are great. Perhaps I will more more lucky next time when I need to make an order.

right Vj arrived today, which took a whole week from ordering

and that was using the cheapest option....i think that was good.

anyway i have a problem... i have a large black border at the bottom of my screen, what ways are there to get this off. I am using the red, white and yellow wires which i got with my GC. Wot wires would stop this?

You need to centre the display image in your Gamecube settings (get to them by switching on your 'cube with on disc inside).

Just to chip in here, I never recieve emails from Play-Asia - not even the auto-generated ones. At first I thought it was some kind of spam filter at my end (I'm on a university network) but I've been assured that nothing gets bounced without me getting a notification. I've clicked "resend" a few times and still ... nothing! Maybe their own mail service is a little temperamental?

Superkully could be right, I've never used AV leads for imports, so don't know the effects, however, If you've never used 60hz before, (and having AV leads, I suspect you haven't), then the combo of 60hz and AV leads could be the issue.

Presuming you have a PAL cube, try booting a PAL game in 60hz by holding down B as it loads, (or use Rogue Leader, and use the 50/60hz selector in the option menu). If you get the border then the problem is either the TV not supporting 60hz, (unlikely these days), or it doesn't like the AV leads.

Upgrading to an RGB scart lead may fix the problem if it's the lead, and even if the problem remains, you'll get a great improvement in picture quality, (if you believe Nintendo an RGB lead is a requirement for the support of 60hz on the Cube).

Last possibility is a failure of freeloader to do the job correctly, you'll have to ask other owener of VJ on the forum if they've got similar problems with the game.

PS Does VJ play as good as it looks?

VJ plays better than it looks

its just great....much better than i expected, and i had high expectations

                thanks for that Eddie.

i usually play all my games in 60hz mode, but i think the problem is me not having a RGB cable.

i own one and have used it for my ps2, so my tv does accept it

i puchased one from the net today, so it should fix this problem. It is a p[ain at the beggining but you get used to it (much like u get use to watchin a widecreen DVD on a non-widescreen tv)

                cheers
