      If you're on the older Netgear router, there's a firmware update available now that's supposed to be more stable, although I didn't have any problems (after a wobbly start) with the old one.

      If you want pings of less than 80ms to UK servers, you will need to moan at Sky. So many people have done it now that they'll do it just if you fire off an email at them - I had to call at 2AM to have a chance at getting through to (or logging a callback from) a Tier 3 customer service rep who could actually change my line settings.

          Ok just changed from Virgin To Sky for everything(tv/phone/internet) after being with NTL/Virgin since 1999 and tv is installed and is awesome specialy the HD Channels.My BB wont be on for another week or so but when they tested my line for max sped they said id get 2.5meg download speed which is pretty poor as i was wanting the £10 a month upto 16meg bb and seeing as im less than a mile away from the exchange box .So i need to ask if anyone is anyone getting more download speed then they were originaly told or if not is there anything i can do maybe get my BB uncapped by Sky at there end??.

          Apreciate any help as the BB is going to be abig letdown at 2.5meg Download speed

            I was told I would get 5mb at most but get a steady 8mb all the time. The £10 is worth it for the unlimited usuage option imo
