Even WPA-PSK is a simple password - it's just that it has to use hexadecimal. I would strongly advise you to use the best encryption you can, because WEP isn't worth the paper it's written on, so to speak - very easily hacked.
Once you've got all your devices connected you will never need to enter the password again (except if you get a new device).
